They say a picture is worth a thousand words; sometimes the picture comforts, other times it unsettles. That is the power of a picture. Jesus, spoke in pictures. And his pictures, the parables, confont us with the scandal of the Kingdom, the sometimes comforting and sometimes unsettling Kingdom of God.
