Jesus extends his invitation to everyone, from the first to the last, into the counterintuitive generosity of God. For the last it is outrageous good news, for the first it is an outrageous scandal. But either way it is an invitation into the fulness of what things are like the God of the Kingdom and the Kingdom of God.
